Mike and Terri Fitch are native "Fifth Ward" Newporters.
Terri designed and Mike built Hawthorne House in 2002. Now a retired police officer, Mike is busy with never-ending building and landscaping projects at Hawthorne House (is any house ever finished?). He enjoys snowmobiling in Vermont and kayaking in Newport.
Terri is a human resources manager for a local insurance agency, and a self-employed business forms distributor. She is a director of the local credit union and is an active Rotarian. Terri
served as a Rotary District Governor in 2006 - 2007.
Their daughter, Christina and her US Marine
husband, Matthew, live in New York.
